Brief

Yards Brewing Company is a craft brewery based in Philadelphia. Their signature products, including the Philadelphia Pale Ale and Brawler, are consumed and loved by millions of customers in the mid-Atlantic region. As the demand for local deliveries grew due to COVID-19, the company sought to revitalize their e-commerce presence with a new storefront. The result is a website which significantly modernizes the company’s online store and prepares it for the years ahead.

The new website migrates Yards’ online presence to Shopify, giving the team access to a better integrated and customizable solution. The new system enables the sales team to process orders more efficiently, while allowing Yards to expand their e-commerce platform to better serve local deliveries and shipping options.

To meet the needs of the company and its customers, a new proprietary theme was designed which would seamlessly integrate e-commerce with product marketing. The beer section serves as a gateway for both those who wish to learn more about the product, as well as those who wish to just buy it straight away. A number of templates give Yards the flexibility to highlight their events and venues. And with the changes brought by COVID, the new taproom page provides visitors a better way to browse the menu using their smartphones.

These changes give Yards not only a new platform to work with, but greater flexibility and a more industry-standard approach for their online presence.
