The Wharton School is the world’s premier collegiate business school, home to distinguished business leaders such as Elon Musk and Ronald Perelman. As a work study designer for the External Affairs office of the school, I had the opportunity to design a number of creative assets for the school’s $1b capital campaign, “More Than Ever, Wharton.” Building upon an identity designed by Pentagram, I developed social marketing and environmental graphics for the school’s global forums and giving campaigns.
Pentagram’s design system for the campaign expands upon that used for the design of Wharton Magazine, adopting bold and impactful language that highlights Wharton’s capacity to incubate ideas and create leaders. The design is consistently typeset in New Grotesk Square and Farnham and is washed in Wharton’s blue palette, giving deference to the words designed to inspire.
My contributions to the campaign were the development of a new navigation system for the website, as well as a number of one-offs and materials designed for potential donors and executives across a variety of platforms. Additionally, I assisted in the production for set design at the New York Global Forum.
