The Questions of Life and Death presents questions which are challenging and generally avoided in public settings. These cards are designed to encourage people to become more open with their friends and family, to create discussion that is intimate and personal. They bring light to subjects and stories which people may never have the opportunity to share. Coinciding with the launch of Netflix’s new original series, Move to Heaven, the card game asks those difficult questions to ensure that these stories are never left untold.
My role was to create a web adaptation of the card game to maximize audience reach, incorporating digital-unique features such as social sharing and a wall of featured answers. Designed primarily for mobile use as a substitute for the physical deck, the digital deck brings the game to more places than ever, allowing players to experience the game for free and in any setting. Whether in a small intimate gathering or in a Zoom call, players can share their answers with one another, stream them to an audience, or upload an image of a card to post on their social media channels.
