Having established a clear and prominent presence with their fashion label, the designers behind Sundae School pushed forward with a new foray into the cannabis market. The product line, “Sundae Flowers,” continues the company’s mission of de-stigmatizing cannabis and highlighting its potential to unlock the creative minds within individuals. The new website showcases a brand new identity and direction designed by incoming creative director Phillip Kim.
The new website for Sundae Flowers features a radically new brand identity, departing from the minimalism of the previous Sundae School brand and adopting a more colorful and type-centric design. Large, impactful typography set in Neue Haas Grotesk is complimented with vibrant imagery and education-inspired motifs, emphasizing the brand’s “higher education” tagline. Additionally, motion graphics and transitions are utilized throughout the website to bring life and dynamics into the presentation of the product. Sundae Studio approached me to translate visual mockups into the final consumer-facing website.
